The 30th annual Carrabelle Riverfront Festival is coming
This full day of free, family-friendly activities, live music, entertainment, over 50 arts and craft vendors and food is planned for Saturday, June 12 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Joining the many activities for the kids, young and old, is a new addition, Captain Davy’s Adventure Show from Destin and his fun-filled band of pirates with music, magic and mayhem.
Returning will be the free children’s mini-train rides and touch tanks full of live sea creatures. Chow down on tasty choices like seafood gumbo, fried shrimp, sausage dogs, BBQ, and fair foods like funnel cakes, cotton candy and ice cream treats.
Tap your feet to fun classic rock and pop favorites from across the decades with The Silverado Band and NightShift on the City Stage. Or enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of acoustic and folk music on Avenue B with Hwy 98 Band, Frank Lindamood, and R.P. Allen-One Man Band.
A performance from a select group from the Tallahassee Community College Dance Company should be spectacular.
The Expo on Avenue B will feature folk life demonstrations, maritime activities, and local history and natural resource exhibitors including Moonlight the Owl and the new snakes and reptiles exhibit, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Franklin County Humane Society will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to offer pet adoption.
Admission to this family friendly and pet friendly event is FREE and open to the public. The Carrabelle Chamber of Commerce invites you to experience a family fun filled day along the beautiful and historic Carrabelle Harbor and River.
The festival, hosted by the Carrabelle Chamber of Commerce and the community of Carrabelle, is funded in part by the Franklin County Tourist Development Council and the Carrabelle Community Redevelopment Agency.
