Chuck Day in concert Sunday


All are invited to hear recording artist Chuck Day in concert on Sunday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church, 10 Ellis Van Vleet St., Apalachicola.

Chuck is one of today’s top singer/songwriters in the Christian country and country gospel industries.

He has written or co-written more than 30 #1 songs including 1986’s “Midnight Cry” which was awarded Song of the Year by the Singing News Fan Awards in 1988, was named Christian Music Song of the Decade, was named one of the Top 20 Christian Music Songs of the Century in 2000, and has been recorded by many Christian artists, gospel choirs and Southern gospel groups. His other songs include “Child of the Light,” “Angels in the Room,” and “I’ll Stand Up and Say So.”

He has earned recognition with honors such as being presented “Entertainer of the Year,” “Male Vocalist of the Year,” “Songwriter of the Year” and “Living Legend” at the Inspirational Country Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee.

Chuck is also an inductee into the International Country Gospel Music Association’s Hall of Fame and The Texas International Music Hall of Fame. He recently celebrated 50 years in music.
