Franklin County seventh grader Addyson Paul ran a season’s best 23:53.90 at the Class 1A District 1 cross country meet Tuesday, qualifying her for the regional tournament.
Paul’s run placed her 15th overall, the top individual performance outside of runners on teams advancing to the regionals, which will be Nov. 5 at the New World Sports Complex in Jacksonville, hosted by the Bolles School.
Paul’s teammate, sixth grader Isabella Polous ran a season’s best 25:24.50 to place 23rd overall, while sixth grader Baileigh Dasher ran a 31:10.10 to finish 58th.
Among the boys, freshman Josiah Friddle ran a 19:46.10 to finish 23rd, while seventh grader Trenton Teat ran a season’s best 23:40.50 to finish 68th.
Sophomore Owen Golden ran a season’s best 25:11.20 to finish 82nd, three seconds ahead of freshman Dexton Teat, who finished 63rd.
