NOTICE OF ZONING CHANGE
The Franklin County Board of County Commissioners proposes to adopt the following by ordinance:
AN ORDINANCE REZONING 5 +/- ACRES OF LAND IN SECTION 10, TOWNSHIP 9 SOUTH, RANGE 8 WEST, FROM R-3 SINGLE FAMILY ESTATE RESIDENTIAL TO R-2 SINGLE FAMILY MOBILE HOME DISTRICT.
A public hearing on the proposed change will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the County Commission meeting room in the Franklin County Courthouse Annex, 34 Forbes Street, Apalachicola, Florida. More information can be obtained, and the proposed changes may be inspected at the Franklin County Planning Department, 34 Forbes Street, Suite 1, Apalachicola, Florida 32320 (telephone 850-653-9783).
Even though the public is welcome in the meeting room for this meeting, the use of Zoom is still encouraged as an option to participate in meeting. Persons wishing to comment may do so in person, by using the virtual meeting feature noted above during the public hearing or in writing to the Franklin County Board of County Commissioners, 33 Market Street, Suite 203, Apalachicola, Florida 32320. Transactions of this public hearing will be recorded. Persons who may wish to appeal any action resulting from this hearing should make the necessary arrangements to ensure that a verbatim record is made, including testimony and evidence, if any, upon which the appeal is to be based. The meeting room is handicap accessible.
